Oreo Cream Frosting

There are no real Oreo's used in this recipe, it was inspired by the cream used to fill an Oreo. There are only four ingredients.

Ingredients:
~1/2 C. of softened butter (1 stick)
~1/2 C. of shortening
~4 C. powdered sugar (sifted)
~2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Cream together a stick of softened butter, shortening, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. There you have it, Oreo Cream Frosting!

Great for making your own cream filled cookies or Oreo Cupcakes, and Cookies and Cream Cupcakes!
Tip: This is a thick frosting, so if you are using it for cupcakes you may want to use a little less sugar.
